Sales Representative
As Lab651’s Sales Development Lead, you will develop new opportunities, manage your sales pipeline, create and execute account strategies, close deals and manage client expansion. You will be responsible for the ongoing identification, development, and assessment of opportunities in our markets. You are responsible for developing long-term, valued trust-based partnerships with our clients, unparalleled customer service, and a solutions mindset. You will be responsible for getting our team in front of and closing the deal on potential new clients.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter looking to begin or expand a career in sales. You are someone that loves to win and is willing to get creative to do so. This role is an essential component to our growth and a member of our leadership team.
We prefer hybrid or in-person work for this role, but would consider remote for the right candidate. Our office is located in St Paul, MN
Requirements
- 4+ years of B2B sales or related experience
- Experience working in software / technology / consulting related field
- Track record of bringing results through outbounding
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or comparable business experience
What Will You Do
- Pipeline growth – Develop more quality opportunities
- Directly generate, intercept, qualify and nurture inbound and outbound leads into qualified opportunities
- Prospect and find new business from existing accounts and previous clients
- Develop and close business with technical support and domain experience from the Head of Software Engineering
- Open to spending time outside of the office doing on-site presentations, conferences, and sales and marketing-related meetings
- Lead management – Create a memorable client experience
- Primary point of contact to ensure experience for the prospect is exceptional whether they qualify or not, through relay of lead information, and careful internal and external handoff
- Sales operations – Make the process better through continuous improvement
- Partner with leadership to monitor and optimize the prospecting and sales process, platforms and performance reporting
- Contribute to the development, documentation and improvement of the sales process
- Agree with the importance of process
What Skills Will Help You Be Successful?
- Being a “doer”
- Previous experience in EOS based business
- Hubspot (or other B2B marketing automation) experience is preferred
- Experienced in using online research tools such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Navigator
- Proficient with G Suite
