Business Development Manager

As Lab651’s Business Development Manager, you will develop new opportunities, manage your sales pipeline, create and execute account strategies, close deals and manage client expansion. You will be responsible for the ongoing identification, development, and assessment of opportunities in your market. You are responsible for developing long-term, valued trust-based partnerships with our clients, unparalleled customer service, and a solutions mindset.

  • Create business and sales strategies to achieve the corporate revenue goals
  • Plan approaches, presentation materials, and proposals that speak to the client’s needs and objectives, and effectively communicates Lab651’s solutions
  • Successfully position Lab651 and its services to senior executives, VPs and Director-level buyers, and entrepreneurs, building their confidence in Lab651’s solutions and our ability to deliver excellence
  • Successfully sell digital solutions and services
  • Build an efficient and scalable sales department
  • Lead in the acquisition of new clients
  • Create and implement strategic sales initiatives
  • Identify target prospects and industry segments
  • Stay on top of the market and competitors to identify and help develop Lab651’s selling propositions and differentiators
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales and activity goals
  • Log and maintain all activity in Hubspot



  • Trustworthy, honest, and hardworking individual who is fanatical about selling and revenue growth
  • A minimum of 7 years experience successfully selling staffing and or professional services
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives in a complex solutions environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Motivation for sales, sales-planning, and fulfilling client needs
  • Experience and proficiency in consolidating and growing books of business
  • Experience interacting with clients and opening the doors for new business
  • Excellent prospecting and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals
  • High energy, and professional
  • Openness and an ability to swiftly adapt and pivot
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and seasoned presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the latest web and mobile software platforms, architectures and digital technologies, along with how they align with Lab651’s capabilities to deliver strategic solutions to our clients
  • Experience with and understanding of Scrum based Agile software development methods
